Ambient Devices is a US maker of glanceable wireless devices, displays and systems that provide real-time Internet information without the need for a computer, interaction or any technical expertise whatever on the part of their users. The company’s technologies enable seamless, user-friendly access to dynamic information such as weather forecasts, stock market activity, sports scores and more—all with little or no user configuration.
We were asked to explore and envision what their brand identity might look like if it were itself to become “ambient” in the same spirit as its products.
